Pumpkinvine Bike Ride

Help us celebrate our 20th annual ride while experiencing 0.9 mile of newly built trail. Enjoy the 16-mile Pumpkinvine Nature Trail passing through farm fields, flower gardens and small towns. Ride on county roads past Amish farms and workshops. Pedal beside horses and buggies past sheep, cattle and newborn foals in summer pastures. Generous SAGs at Middlebury and Shipshewana serve drinks, fruit, energy foods and cold cut sandwiches. End your ride with the usual pie and ice cream. Children are welcome. Ride proceeds will support construction of the trail. Camping and showers will be available at the fairgrounds.
Enjoy a hearty Thresher’s Dinner at an Amish home on Friday, June 14. This year there will be two dinners giving participants a choice between bicycling or driving to dinner.
