The welcome mat will be out for bicyclists throughout the spectacular inaugural Fall Bike Celebration weekend (September 20-22, 2019), featuring a Ride with fantastic routes through the beautiful Southwest Michigan countryside during the day, plus a separate charity fundraising Awards & Recognition Dinner that Saturday evening. The routes feature views of the hauntingly beautiful beautiful Vicksburg Quilt Barn Trail — huge paintings unmatched anywhere in our region —  each one telling a different story.

But wait–there’s more! (Chuckle) Our weekend-long schedule includes featured attractions on Friday include a top-rated disc golf course, a fascinating historical walking tour, a preview of a massive entertainment complex, a Farmers Market, Ice Cream Social, musical entertainment and…if everything comes together as hoped (meaning someone enters and actually wins)…a Public Bike Art Prize award, presented on Sunday.

We want you to join us and enjoy the ride of a lifetime…going back in time…during a weekend jam-packed with added features…nestled in charming rural Southwest Michigan…featuring routes you will never forget…in support of bicycling and community-based charitable causes.

The Fall Bike Celebration is organized by Bike Friendly Kalamazoo (BFK), a network of volunteers working to make our greater community even more bike friendly (see our About page).
