Join us for a 20 mile morning loop in the country, followed by a 3 mile trek to the State Capitol. Lunch will be provided and those wishing to participate will meet with their Representatives and Senators. Plan to be part of the event and help demonstrate to our elected officials that there is a strong bicycle constituency.

Life Ride 2008 is hosted by the Lansing Area AIDS Network (LAAN) and is the only AIDS Ride in the state of Michigan. The 2008 ride will begin and end in the greater Lansing Area and will pass through several mid-Michigan communities, in an effort to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS and raise pledge dollars to help support LAAN.

Hillsdale County Magic Ride 2008

Time: Registration begins 8 a.m.
Fees: $5/child; $20/adult; $25/family; each receives T-shirt and free lunch. Proceeds from registration and pledges support child abuse education and prevention programs of CAPA – Child Abuse Prevention and Awareness Hillsdale County.
Distances: 15, 25 and 50 miles.
Routes: Begin at beautiful Baw Beese Lake to explore rolling country roads of southern Hillsdale County. PUMPKINVINE BIKE RIDE

Ninth annual Pumpkinvine Bike Ride supports development of 17-mile rail-trail between Goshen, Middlebury, and Shipshewana. Ride on two miles of developed trail and then on country roads. Generous sags, home-made pie and ice cream served at the end of the ride. Enjoy Amish countryside, working draft horses, new-born colts in pastures, Amish stores and bike shops. The 15-mile Country-Life loop stops at an Amish farm, Chief Shipshewana Memorial, round barn and other sites.

The Ecology Center’s EcoRide departs from beautiful Hudson Mills Metropark in Dexter, MI, situated along the Huron River. Routes meander through rural Washtenaw County and range from a family-friendly 3-mile to a more challenging 50-mile that winds through downtown Manchester. Riders can enjoy local food, children’s activities, music, bicycle repair and recycling workshop, massages and more throughout the day.

Neighborhood Senior Services (NSS) - Joyride
Start: Dexter - Huron Metropark
Distances: 25, 65, 100
Fee: $35 - asking participants to raise a $100 (25 miles), $175 (65 miles) or  $250, (Century). Children under 17 must be accompanied by an adult.
Neighborhood Senior Services is sponsoring this ride to raise money for the organization and benefit the seniors in our community.  We will depart from Dexter –Huron Metro Park.  Depending on your fitness level, choose from 3 different routes that all travel through parts of Ann Arbor, Dexter, Chelsea and beyond... Riders can begin any time between 6:00 and 10:00 am. and should plan according to your speed and level of fitness. Lunch will be served from 11:30 am - 1:30 pm  All three rides will have rest stops with snacks and lunch. We will have a mechanic on site for the start of the ride, and intermittently along route for minor repairs and assistance.
