Ride 100 kilometers through the valley of the Grand River, breakfast in Allendale, returning well before noon for family activities. Meet at ROCK ‘n’ ROAD Cycle by 6:45 to split in two groups, leave at 7:00 sharp. Pump tires and find your shoes the night before. Don’t forget breakfast money.

ALGONAC PICKEREL TOURNAMENT BIKE TOUR

The Algonac Lions Club is pleased to announce the first annual Algonac Pickerel Tournament Bike Tour. It is to be held Saturday, July 5 with checking starting at 8 am at Algonquin Middle School, 9185 Marsh Road, Algonac, MI 48001. There will be two routes of 23 and 42 miles that will tour southern St Clair County and Harsens Island. Both routes include a lunch stop at the Old Club turnaround on Harsens Island. Proceeds from the ride will go towards the Algonac Pool Access Fund which will make the pool ADA compliant and accessible to all persons with disabilities.

This event is in memory of Miles Levin, and is a fundraiser to find a cure for Rhabdomyosarcoma and other pediatric cancers. There is no formal registration but donations can be made to UJF-Miles Alpern Levin Fund. The road ride is followed by a night ride on mountain or cross bikes with lights for experienced riders.
