Description:

Pedal and Paddle photoCombine cycling with canoeing/kayaking on the peaceful White River in Manistee national Forest for an early season adventure on our two-day Pedal and Paddle Tour. This tour is an ideal experience for families.

Saturday morning after breakfast, bike north on the Hart/Montague Trail through the quaint communities of Rothbury, New Era, Shelby, Mears and to Hart. Depending on your desires you can ride from 10-50 miles! A must stop along the way is the Country Store, right on the trail between New Era and Shelby. Whether for lunch, ice cream or just to let the kids play, you will love the Country Store. Lunch is on your own on Saturday, so you will be able to sample the hospitality of the region.

PandP Photo2Saturday afternoon we will meet back at the White River Campground to canoe/kayak down the majestic White River.

After breakfast on Sunday you will be able to bike the quiet roads south of Montague past inland lakes and along Lake Michigan. The section along Lake Michigan offers a spectacular view of the lake.
