Our 22nd year offers our riders some of the most beautiful cycle touring in the world. Following Lake Michigan’s spectacular shoreline, we’ll visit historic lighthouses, pristine orchards and farms; we’ll swim at sugar-sand beaches, climb the dunes and ride through the noted “Tunnel of Trees.”

8th Annual Ride Around Lake Charlevoix. Bike the shoreline of Lake Michigan on a paved path. Free ride on the Ironton Ferry on some routes. Our 62 mile route is the hilliest metric century in Michigan, and includes “The Wall.” Catered lunch. The Charx is now a Lions Club charity ride.

The 18th Annual on-road bike tour visits a different location each day with a chance to see many historic sites, natural areas, and remote Upper Peninsula locations. Camping, meals and SAG support are included each day. The route is a loop. Family and friends are encouraged to support this “Ride for a Cause.” This event is a fundraiser for abused and neglected children served through Teaching Family Homes of Upper Michigan.

Ride takes place on Michigan’s premier rail trail, a 30 mile paved linear park from Midland to Clare. The century route enjoys beautiful flat lightly traveled country roads in addition to the trail to avoid repeating parts of the route. This well maintained trail is ideal for skating. The MAD Ride features routes in scenic Mason County. All routes have rest stops with great snacks at convenient intervals. The short routes hug Lake Michigan and are relatively flat. Both the 62 and 100 mile routes finish with a hilly 22-mile stretch along Pentwater Lake and Lake Michigan to Ludington. Finish line picnic included.
