MHPVA members are builders and riders of some of the most competitive and technically advanced vehicles found in the USA. Other members use their vehicles regularly as commuting vehicles. The Michigan HPV Rally is our big event each year, but we also conduct a winter meeting (usually in February), and occasional special events.

The MHPVA is open to anyone interested in innovation and creativity in the design and development of human powered transportation -- on land, water, or in the air. It is not necessary to be a builder, own an out-of-the-ordinary vehicle, or live in Michigan to join.
