The League of Michigan Bicyclists host bicycle tours to:
- Promote bicycling tourism and the unmatched beauty of Michigan
- Demonstrate that bicyclists can ride responsibly and Share the Road
- Financially support LMB's advocacy and education efforts
With 31 years of experience, we know a thing or two about hosting exceptional multi-day bicycle tours. Year after year, participants from all over the country and beyond enjoy Michigan's magnificent natural landscape, explore unique local communities, visit historic Great Lakes lighthouses and so much more. Whether it's a weekend get-away or a week-long adventure, our fully-supported excursions show that bicycle touring is a safe, healthy and rewarding adventure for riders of every age.
We lead three tours annually, allowing riders to choose from a range of distances, terrains, activities and group sizes. With such a variety of options, you can be certain there's an LMB tour to suit your interests and riding style.
The Sunrise Adventure offers a low-key atmosphere while serving up magnificent views of Lake Huron's Thunder Bay and tons of local charm. Riders on the MUP Tour can soak up the unparalleled scenery of the eastern UP and may even spot a moose. Shoreline West is a week-long ride up the coast of Lake Michigan, treating riders to some of the most spectacular, breath-taking scenery in the state.
In 2017, LMB is thrilled to announce our newest event, the inaugural Hadrian's Ultimate Bicycle Fest! Whether you're a roadie, mountain biker, or bringing up the next generation of cyclists, chose from one of HUB Fest's four distinct routes before coming together for an evening celebration in downtown Adrian.
Tour proceeds are the primary source of funding for LMB's mission. These tours support the promotion of bicycling and the safety of bicyclists on Michigan roadways through education, awareness and advocacy. Whether you are a tourist, racer, recreational rider, mountain biker or commuter, LMB represents your right to safe bicycling conditions.
