Adventure Cycling Maps

Adventure Cycling Maps

ac logo

In creating the ever-growing Adventure Cycling Route Network, Adventure Cycling has researched and developed 41,420 miles of prime cycling routes in the U.S. to date. These routes follow some of the most quiet, scenic roads and bike trails in the North America and are designed with cyclists in mind.

NORTH LAKES ROUTE

north lakes img1
Escanaba, MI, to Mackinaw City, MI (153.5 mi.) to Monroeville, IN (534 mi.)
This route is very pleasant to do if you like biking through hardwood forests, lakes, and farmlands. The route is generally rolling and one of Adventure Cycling's easier routes to ride. There are no dramatic climbs over mountain passes. This is not to say that there are no steep climbs, but difficult climbing is not the general terrain of this route.

LAKE ERIE CONNECTOR

lake erie img1
The Lake Erie Connector is intended primarily as a shortcut that saves 244 miles between the North Lakes Route near Wolf Lake, Michigan, and the Northern Tier Route at Fort Erie, Ontario. It also connects to the Northern Tier Route across the western end of Lake Erie at Sandusky, Ohio, and enables a variety of loop rides in the lower Great Lakes region.
