Rolling Forward Michigan Bicycle Conference

Registration is open forRolling Forward: Michigan Bicycle Conference, coming to Grand Rapids June 1st - 2nd, 2018. 

This conference aims to generate excitement and support for ideas that will make Michigan bicycling better and safer.

Join us and learn about:

  • MOGO Bike Share Program and how it has reached new riders to grow Detroit's bicycling community.
  • Methods to increase bicyclists' visibility on the roadway.
  • A breakdown of the who, when, and where of bicycle crashes in Michigan.
  • How to improve and sustain bicycle culture on college campuses.
  • A legal analysis of the Michigan Vehicle Code as it pertains to bicyclists.
  • Available funding from OHSP for bicycle safety programs and infrastructure projects.
  • City of Grand Rapids' Bicycle Safety Education project playbook, which resulted in a significant decrease in bicycle crashes and fatalities, increased awareness of the rules of the road, and improved traffic law compliance.
  • How to integrate bicycle facilities into existing infrastructure through OHSP's Training Wheels program. Includes an on-road on-bike session.
  • And more!

Registration is $35 and includes lunch on June 1st and breakfast June 1st and 2nd. Registration will close May 18th.

LMB will host a networking and social event for conference attendees on Friday, June 1st, at Creston Brewery. The evening will include a bicycle tour of some of the infrastructure improvements being made by the city of Grand Rapids.

Rolling Forward is presented in partnership with LMB, the City of Grand Rapids, the Greater Grand Rapids Bicycle Coalition, the Michigan Department of TransportationMichigan State University, and the Office of Highway Safety Planning (OHSP).

Vendor Registration



If you are interested in attending Rolling Forward as a vendor, we are thrilled to welcome you. The admission fee for vendors is $100. Click the button below to reserve your space. Please note that if you plan on bringing multiple people, you should select the 'Vendor Assistance' option for them to avoid being charged the admission fee multiple times. 

Vendor registration includes the following benefits:

  • One booth (dimensions TBD)
  • Two full conference registrations
  • Acknowledgment on the conference website, in conference literature, and during conference workshops.

 

Parking for Rolling Forward


 

Free guest parking will be in the Grand Valley University Fulton Lot. No parking passes are required; simply tell the lot attendant that you are attending Rolling Forward, and you will be admitted to the lot. The lot can be found in cell C7 of the map below.
