Dollar-Per-Ride-2017There are many ways to enjoy the fall cycling weather and give back while you ride; we invite you to check out this month’s $1 per Rider Events! The organizers of these rides have pledged to donate $1 to LMB for every person who registers for their event. Those dollars add up quickly and help tremendously in LMB’s education and advocacy work. We hope you will help support us, simply by registering for one of the stellar events below this month!

Milford Labor Day 30K Fat Tire
17th Annual Fat Tire - Something for Everyone, come out for the challenge, stay for the fun!
Scenic course with beautiful dirt roads, including shaded areas and roller coasters of hills.
Expo on Friday 3-7pm & Saturday- (event day). Enjoy the post-race party with burgers, refreshments, and entertainment at Bakers of Milford Restaurant.

Lakeshore Harvest Ride
South Haven
Enjoy a fun and picturesque countryside bicycle ride by lakes, fruit and produce farms, wineries and a cider mill. The routes touch several southwest Michigan communities, including Douglas, Saugatuck and South Haven. Free concierge service will deliver any products purchased along the route to the starting point.

Celebration of Cycling
Dearborn Heights
Join us for the 25th Annual Celebration of Cycling. We want to know what YOU are celebrating with your ride. Are you celebrating a loved one who has passed? Maybe your first century ride? Are you celebrating the accomplishments of our Summer Program Students? Or are you just celebrating your love of cycling? We want you to come celebrate with us!

Trail Mix
From paved roads to rustic trails, we have every type of surface you might ride on, in this brevet. At about 50% trails and gravel roads — wide comfy tires are a must.

Ride for Warriors
Ride for Warriors is a one-day bicycling event in honor of the brave men and women that fight and have fought for our freedom. Proceeds will go toward Veterans in the West Michigan area.

Come Clean Duathlon
Ditch your car for your wheels and legs! At the Come Clean Duathlon you’ll learn how easy it is to clean commute. Our scenic route offers the solitude to stay poised and the inspiration to compete. Free swag/goodies for all, prizes for age group winners, and cash prizes and trophies for top finishers. More information is available on our website. The Come Clean Duathlon is hosted by the Clean Commute Options Program, a service of the Capital Area Transportation Authority. We provide transportation alternatives to Michiganders traveling into and throughout Great Lansing.

American Cancer Society Gears and Cheers Hope Ride
Grand Rapids
Gears & Cheers is in its inaugural year! We want each rider to enjoy the beautiful West Michigan landscapes while resting and re-energizing at some of our best Beer City USA Breweries along the way. Each of the 4 water stations is held at a local craft brewery. A light breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided to each rider along with drink tickets for each water station.

Leelanau Harvest Tour
Suttons Bay
Enjoy scenic views of Lake Michigan and Lake Leelanau while riding on lightly traveled rural roads past many farms, orchards, vineyards and hop yards. After ride picnic lunch is provided at Suttons Bay High School.

Lenawee Bike Tour

Adrian’s Noon Rotary presents 1st inaugural Lenawee Bike Tour 2017. This event coincides with downtown Adrian’s Artalicious hosting more than 80 Artist. The 2 Day biking event starts Saturday, September 16 with a 25, 40, 62 & 100-mile chip timed tour/fondo through Irish Hills and MIS. Sunday will have a chip timed cross country style mountain bike event with 2 start times accommodating several skill levels featuring an 8 mile timed competitive loop. Junior/kids classes both days. ANSI approved helmets required for all events. Event T Shirts & goodies bags for registered participants. Food, spirits & evening entertainment Friday and Saturday. Camping available.

Irish Hills Tour
The ride traverses varied terrain in NW Ohio and SE Michigan. Longer routes enter rolling Irish Hills. Lunch is served on 62 and 100-mile routes. There are snack stops on all routes. Pavement markings, map, and cue sheet are provided.

Tour de Ville
Tour de Ville's 4th annual cycle event on Saturday, September 23rd offers a number of distances, all starting/ending at The Village Workshop, Northville. Discount for families. All monies support local charities.

Ride for the Rails: The Iron Horse Tour
The Iron Horse Tour is a great recreational ride through Shiawassee County. Along the way, you will be directed to landmarks and train related points of interest as well as given information about the communities through which you may ride. All Funds raised will be used to build a park in downtown Durand which will include the National Railroad Memorial in honor of the men and women of the railroad industry.

Tour de Ile 2017
Grosse Ile
Tour de Ile is a bicycle tour on scenic Grosse Ile. The 16-mile route is featuring historical & nature landmarks on the island. The longer rides are expanding into the downriver Metro Parks.

Lake Erie Fall Ride
Come join the 1st Annual Lake Erie Fall Ride, hosted by the Monroe Cycling Club. Starting at our local Monroe County Community College and consisting of two distance options...a metric century (62 miles) and a half metric (approximately 31 miles), the ride will travel through historic Monroe County, by the River Raisin National Battlefield, and near the shores of Lake Erie.
