There are many ways to enjoy the summer months bicycling and giving back while you ride; we invite you to check out this month’s $1 per Rider Events! The organizers of these rides have pledged to donate $1 to LMB for every person who registers for their event. Those dollars add up quickly, and help tremendously in LMB’s education and advocacy work. Black Bear Gran Fondo

New and improved 100 mile route with two additional routes that fit inside the 100 mile route: 62 miles (metric century) and 45 miles. All routes start and finish at Hanson Hills Recreation Area (HHRA) in Grayling, Michigan, are chip-timed, are on paved roads and experience the beauty of both Crawford and Roscommon counties. Rest stations, lots of volunteers and, great food awaits you at the finish!

One Helluva Ride

Join us for a day of scenic bicycle touring over tree-lined, paved roads through rural and recreation areas on beautiful rolling terrain that varies enough to appeal to a broad range of bicyclists. OHR riders can choose from six great loop routes. All the routes share the same central lunch stop so that family members and friends who decide to take different routes can meet. All routes will be clearly marked and maps provided. There will be lunch and snack stops, entertainment, embroidered patches, SAG support and mechanics on duty, quality custom merchandise, friendly volunteers and post-ride ice-cold watermelon at Chelsea Fairgrounds.

North Country 100 Bicycle Tour

Rider on paved roads through rolling terrain, past lakes and forests and enjoy the wildflowers and scenery of the Upper Peninsula. Routes for the 100 mile and 100 kilometer are designed with more experienced riders in mind. The 25 mile route follows a moderate terrain. All three tours are open to any rider aged 12 and older, so riders should keep in mind their own limits.  After the ride enjoy a meal by beautiful Sunday Lake. See website for more information.
