In May we start the season with our MGST in this warmest part of Michigan. With the shelter of tree-lined country roads and bright dandelions, several hundred delight in our well-prepared tour.

Ever wonder what you missed if you haven't joined DCC. Last year you missed The First Dozen Saddlemen Ride, Winter Riding in January and February, Wednesday Rides that started in mid-March and have not been weathered out yet this year, Tuesday Ice Cream Rides, Thursday 3 Parks Rides, Saturday Mileage Maker Rides, Sunday Morning Breakfast Rides, Sister's Cycling Tour de Lakes, the Farm Lake Tour, the Downriver Cream Cruise, Giant Pancakes in Grand Rapids Ohio on the 4th of July Fort Meigs Ride, the Minard Mills Bicycle Ride & Hot Dog Roast, Uncle Joe's DCC Club Century, Peach of a Ride, Celebration of Cycling, and more. All in the company of a great, friendly, helpful bunch of people.  You've also missed 400--1400 miles of nice mild winter riding. The annual club banquet is in January.

DCC contributes to  the Michigan Trails and Greenways Alliance, Downriver  Bicycle Transportation Alliance, the Michigan MTN Bikes Association, the Belknap Needy Cyclist Fund and PEAC (Program to Enhance all Cyclists).


Our Newsletter, The SPOKE 'n WORD is published for distribution to DCC members and related organizations. Members ads are welcome at  no charge. Deadline is the 15th of each month.
Established in 1978, DCC promotes bicycle safety, education and all forms of cycling. DCC is affiliated with the League of American Bicyclists and the League of Michigan Bicyclists.
