In May we start the season with our Metro Grand Spring Tour (MGST) in this warmest part of Michigan. With the shelter of tree-lined country roads and bright dandelions, over 1000 riders a year joined in our well-prepared Tour each  of the last several years.

DCC contributes to  the Michigan Trails and Greenways Alliance, Downriver  Bicycle Transportation Alliance, the Michigan MTN Bikes Association, the Belknap Needy Cyclist Fund and PEAC (Program to Enhance all Cyclists). Proceeds from MGST make this possible.

Our Newsletter, The SPOKE 'n WORD is published for distribution to DCC members and related organizations. Members ads are welcome at  no charge. Deadline is the 15th of each month.

Established in 1978, DCC promotes bicycle safety, education and all forms of cycling, contributing to The PEAC Cycling Program,  The International Velodrome at Bloomer Park in Rochester Hills, MI and The Michigan Mountain Biking Association(MMBA)  DCC is also affiliated with the League of American Bicyclists and the League of Michigan Bicyclists.

Meeting are held the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM unless otherwise posted in our newsletter. Membership dues are $10.00 per year and include all household members.  Click here to Join Downriver Cycling Club.
