Note: All of our rides are open to the public. Helmets are required for all rides. Lights are required for night rides and lighter clothing is a good idea for better visibility during late evening rides.

Regular Daily Rides

Mondays:
6:00 PM: Meet Bill and Diane Baker at Genysis Credit Union (on west side of VanDyke S of 23 Mile near green water tower) for a 12-15MPH with no set destination or mileage. Call Bill or Diane at 586-739-0261 for details. NOTE: No ride on Club Meeting nights.

Tuesdays:
5:30 PM: Meet Rick and Sue Moorman at the SW corner of Sheffield Parking Lot (Cunningham and W Big Beaver just west of Coolidge) 35-45 miles at 15-18 MPH in the Troy, Bloomfield, and Auburn Hills area. Pace and distance will increase throughout the summer.

Wednesdays:
9:00 AM Meet Rick and Sue Moorman (586-792-0119) for rides to alternating locations. Call Rick to be placed on his email distribution list for ride start locations, destinations and speed.

6:00 PM Meet Steve and Deb Angst (digitaldeb@comcast.net) for 25-30 miles of riding in the New Baltimore area at a pace of 16-18 MPH leaving from Naldrett Elementary school (Sugarbush just North of Cotton (21-1/2). Ice Cream stop midway.

Thursdays:
6:00 PM: Meet Gary Haelewyn and sometimes Sally (248-549-9062) at the SW corner of Sheffield Parking Lot (Cunningham and W Big Beaver just west of Coolidge). 20-30 hilly miles at 12-14 MPH in the Troy, Bloomfield, and Auburn Hills area with an occasional flat ride in Royal Oak, Southfield, Ferndale areas.

5:30 PM: Meet Rick Jones (248-879-2490) at the MSU Management Center (Square Lake and Crooks) for a fast "start together - end together" ride at "moderate" 16-18 AVG speed for a distance of 30 miles. This ride will rapidly increase in speed as the season progresses. Update 06/30/09: For the next few weeks, we will be doing Make-A-wish training rides. This will mean that the ride will go a little slower, but just as many hills.

6:00 PM: Meet Carol Green (586-296-7381) at Masonic (13-1/2 Mile) and Jefferson parking lot for a 30 mile ride at 20+ MPH.

Fridays:
8:00-9:00 AM Call Bill and Annette Smith (248-652-2278) for a ride leaving from alternate locations in Romeo, Washington and Shelby Twp. to alternating locations. Rides will be 40 -50 miles at 15-18 MPH pace. Call Bill & Annette to be added to the distribution list.

Saturdays:
8:00 AM Stony Creek Boat Launch, 45 miles 16-22 MPH Armada and back with breakfast in Armada.

8:30 AM Meet Les Dunham for a shorter Armada ride at 25 Mile Rd and Shelby (SE corner shopping center), 15-19MPH, 36 miles.

9:00 AM Meet TJ Hill (586-293-0162) Stony Creek West Brach Trail head for a FAST paced mountain bike ride to distant locations. 9-10 AVG speed 50 miles.

Sundays:
9:00 AM Meet TJ Hill Stoney Creek Boat Launch for a 50 mile Moderate Paced mountain bike ride. 13 AVG.

9:00 AM Meet Dick Williams at Grosse Point North HS (Vernier just west of Jefferson) for 14-17 MPH ride to Historic Fort Wayne with a lunch stop somewhere downtown. Approx 40 miles round trip.

Special Rides

June 13 - Meet TJ Hill at Stoney Creek boat launch for a 100 mile mountain bike ride to NB.

June 20 - Meet TJ Hill at Stony Creek boat launch for a 120 mile mountain bike ride to NB.

June 21 - Join Dave and Sharon at 8:00 AM at Wiley Grade School across from Utica HS (21 Mile and Shelby) for a 45 mile 15-17MPH Fathers Day ride to Royal Oak and back with breakfast in R/O. Call Dave at 586-254-1851 for details.

June 28 - Meet Bill and Julie Windhorst (her birthday) at Marter and Jefferson 9:00 AM for a ride to Riverwalk at 14-16MPH. Email Bill and Julie at WETANDEM@WOWWAY.com if interested and for more details.

July 12 - Meet Bill and Julie Windhorst for a Bar-BQ and ride to the races. Email Bill and Julie at WETANDEM@WOWWAY.com for more details

August 9th - Meet TJ Hill at 12:00 Noon at Stony Creek for his annual "Just Right Picnic". $10 gets you food and beer and possibly a jig and song to go with them. TJ will lead a dirt ride from 9:00 AM to 12:00.

NON-RIDE EVENTS AND CLUB INFORMATION

The Clinton River Rivers generally meet the second Monday of the month at the Mount Clemens Public Library, at 150 Cass Avenue between Gratiot and Groesbeck. The meeting time is 7:00 PM.
