The LMB’s goal in sponsoring these events is to promote a safe, enjoyable, and economical bicycling vacation for novice through intermediate and advanced bicyclists of all ages.  One of the LMB’s long-term projects is to build a series of routes that reflect our stat’s beautiful Great Lakes shoreline.

The LMB is working to Make Michigan a Bicycle Friendly State for both visitors and residents.  Tour proceeds support programs such as our bicyclists and motorist safety education efforts, public service announcements, our annual Poster Calendar and our quarterly Michigan Bicyclist Magazine.  We also promote bicycle-friendly legislation and policies by working with Michigan’s Departments of Transportation, Natural Resources, Community Health and State Police.  Whether you live here or are visiting, we are fighting for YOUR right to the road.  Supporting us helps you promote cycling and protect your rights as a cyclists.
